Company traditions allow for your business to stand out among companies in Corporate America. Traditions highlight your culture and give a prospective employee a deeper desire to join your team.

At Creative Marketing Alliance (CMA), we believe that celebrating traditions is a great way to bring all levels of staff together so they can interact with each other. It becomes something your employees look forward to and provides a break from their daily grind.

Some of CMA’s traditions include “Ringing the Bell,” which happens when we have good news to share, awarding a member of the team with a “Crew Star Award,” which recognizes their outstanding work for the quarter, and celebrating the success and accomplishments of an individual or team with a “Moment of the Month.”

In addition to these, we also like to incorporate seasonal and holiday traditions into the mix. We kick it all off in March with a “Best Dressed’ contest on St. Patrick’s Day, followed by BBQs every month in the summer, then a Halloween party with contests ranging from “Best Costume” to “Best Decorated Desk”, and we round it up with our annual CMA Holiday Card (click here to see the past three holiday cards we’ve created). As you can see, we enjoy some friendly competition.

Don’t know where to start? The holiday season is a great time to consider introducing a new company tradition such as a costume contest for Halloween, potluck lunch for Thanksgiving, volunteering opportunities or getting everyone involved in a food drive. The end goal is to bring your staff together and create a fun new memory for everyone!
